Fun Friday

  Are you like me and if you looked at this card you would wonder if you could line up the vases that well?  No wondering needed, because I used a Stamparatus which made is quite easy.  I made this at the Butterfly Friends meeting we had in early February.  We made several different elements that can be used on a card with about 7 different Stamparatus techniques.

  Our challenge was to take the element we made and create a card.  I am always up for a challenge.

   This is what I came up with and here is what I wanted to do with my card.

1. I wanted to use the colors of the pots as the background for the card.

2. I wanted to place the element on a black piece of card stock to accentuate the pots.

3. There was a little extra space next to the pot on the right so I thought it would be a perfect place to put the saying.

  It was fun to create this card.  Now, I am anxious to see what the other Butterfly friends did with theirs.

Flying Home-Friday Fun

Aren't these clouds so cute.  Wish I could see them here in dreary Illinois.

I think this designer paper is one of the fun parts of this card.  Can you guess what is on the other side?  If you guessed stars on a purple background you would be correct.

Fun for me

1. Coloring the bird house, yes I love to color.

2. The cute bird holding the Happy Birthday message in its beak.

3. The Tranquil Tide colored ribbon.

4. Yes, the clouds.

Birthday Wit-Fun Friday

Check out the designer paper in the background.  I showcased 4 of the designs in the Picture Perfect Party designer paper.  2 show the photos, and 2 show the designs.  Can't you see how you could repeat this card by using different papers in the designer paper spot.

Can you see why I like this stamp from the Birthday Wit stamp set the best?  It kind of says it all about all the things we have to worry about any more.  So lets just send a card with nothing to worry about on it except to just enjoy your birthday. Card Cafe Creations-Colorful Seasons

An amazing card for an amazing person.  This had a Japanese look to me with the moon and the peach blossom flowers on a delicate branch.

1. Punch out a circle the size you would like for the moon.
2. Attach it to the paper will something that is not permanent.
3. Use a brayer and roll it all over the background paper.
4. Pull off your circle and there is your moon.
