Share what you love-Fun fold Friday

I love making cards that have a fun fold to them.  This card is one that my friend Dina showed me how to make last weekend.  We got together to share ideas and get each other inspired.  I know the weekend helped me.

Once you fold the card stock, add the designer paper, and a focal point you can open the card and place a message inside.

Does it look hard to make this card?  I know when I first saw it I thought it looked hard, but it is really easy.  And best of all it will fit in a normal sized envelope.

I have a technique club that meets once a month and this was one of the cards they made this month.

Next week I will be featuring the new in-colors.  Check back for a video of how to open and make the best use of the new ink pads, a card made each day with one of the new in-colors, and information about an in-color club I will be starting in June.

Would you like to get a notice in your emails each time I create a new post.  Just sign up to be put on the email list in the spot you see on the right hand side of this page.

Have a convinced you that this is a great bundle to have in your stamping stash?  I hope so.

Share What You Love Suite-Template Thursday

Does this card look similar to one you have already seen this week?  I featured this layout on Monday for a  Make it Simple card.  We made these cards at a Butterfly Friends meeting recently.

I like how this template shows off several of the designs from the Share What You Love designer paper.

My post yesterday showed a really great box that will hold all these cards and envelopes to mail them in.  This would be a great gift to give a friend.

Tomorrow, I will share a card with a fun fold that my friend Dina showed me how to make last weekend.  Looks so much more complicated than it really is.

Share What You Love Suite-Wednesday Wow

Nothing like a clear box with some great cards inside.  I made this set at a recent Butterfly Friends meeting.

The belly band was wrapped around the Acetate box an used the Pearlized Doilies and the Velvet ribbon.

The box had enough room for 4 cards and envelopes with room to spare.  This would WOW anyone you gave it to for a gift.

Tomorrow I will share the simple template that was used to make the cards that fit inside this box.

Share What You Love Suite-Technique Tuesday

What is your favorite part of this card?  For me it is the embossing.  That is the technique for today.

1. Take the stamp pad of your choice and drag it over one side of the embossing folder of your choice.

2. Lay your card stock in the middle of the embossing folder and close the folder.

3. Run it through the big shot and when it comes out you have an almost satin look surrounding the embossed area.

4. Add some designer paper, and a focal area and the card is complete.

5. The bow is made by taking a bit of Nature's twine, shred it into strands and then tie a bow.

Several quick steps help you make a special looking card.  Try this ink inside an embossing folder in any folder you enjoy.

Tomorrow come back for a look at a WOW project that will hold several cards with matching envelopes.

Share What You Love Suite- Make it Simple Monday

I'm back and excited to share all the great items in the new Stampin'Up! catalog.  This week I am starting with one of my favorite suites.  The Share What You Love Suite.  And that is what I will be doing with my blog, sharing with you what I love about stamping.

Make it Simple Monday

1. Card stock base

2. Designer series paper layer-Share What You Love designer series paper 24 sheets instead of 12 and with a pearl accent to each page.

3. Accent piece with a saying-One of the stamps from the set called Love What You Do.

4. Final touch pearls-New coordinating Share What You Love Artisan Pearls.

Now, wouldn't this card be simple to recreate. I made it at a recent downline meeting.  Robin, my upline created the card and I fell in love with it.

You can find all the supplies to make this card yourself by linking below on each item.  It will take you directly to my store.  How easy is that.

What is your favorite part of this card?  Leave a comment and you can have this card as your own.

Tomorrow, I will share more items in this suite in a Technique card.
