How to Prep Your stamp for easy punching

  

1. Punch the image on a piece of light weight cardboard.

2. Place the stamp upside down  in the punched out shape.

3.  Pick up the stamp using an acrylic block.

4. Now you are ready to stamp and your image will match up to your punch perfectly. Make sure you stamp your image on the edge of your paper, with the ice cream on the right side and the cone on the left side.

Petal Palette Bundle-Drip Technique

  Have you heard of the drip technique? I first heard about it on the Stampin'Up! blog. Here is how it is done.

1. I used the Shimmer White card stock as my paper.

2. I spritzed one third of the card stock with water.  

3. Next I added one drop of reinker to the water.  I tilted my paper and let the color drip.

4. I continued with a second and third section, spritzed, dropped on some reinker, then tilted the card stock.

5. When you have all color you wish, you need to let the paper dry.  You can do that by setting it aside till dry or if you are inpatient like I am, you can use a heat tool to dry the colors.

Try this with your favorite color combination and see what you can create.
