Beautiful Peacock-Tutti-Fruitti cards and envelopes

Can you tell what the background of this card is made from?  Both of the swirls in the Beautiful Peacock stamp set in different colors of green.

There is another free Sale a Bration item on this card.  It is the card base made from the Tutti-Fruitti cards and envelopes.  One of the great items you can earn is a set of 16 card bases and 16 envelopes.  There are 4 designs and colors of both the card bases and envelopes.  The base is yellow which explains these accent pieces.

The saying is from the set called Birthday Wit.  It is almost my favorite item from the Occasions catalog and will be used often on the birthday cards I send out each month.

Are you excited about this Beautiful Peacock stamp set.  Remember it can be yours with a $50 order from any catalog that is current. Thanks for checking in with me.  Come back next week and see what you can make using the Lots to Love box.

Beautiful Peacock-Beautiful Friend

Here is another card made without using the peacock.  This time I used another one of the swirls that make up the peacock's tail.  I added the saying that comes in the set-Beautiful Friend.
What can be better than a simple and easy card to make.

Tomorrow I well share one more card using the swirls and another small item similar to the flowers I used in this card.

Beautiful Peacock-Painted Love Gold Vinyl Stickers

I used to be a non-glitter gal, but now I love glitter, gold and silver in moderation.  For today's card I wanted to feature several gold items. Can you see what I used?

  1. I chose the Bundle of Love designer paper because one side was gold and one side was Pool Party.

2. I knew I wanted to back the card with Gold Foil so I used the layered Ovals framelits to cut out the background piece.

3. The gold tinsel from the Occasions catalog and the gold mini sequins from the annual catalog were a great addition.

4. Finally, I added some hearts from the Painted Love Vinyl stickers made the card complete.

Sometimes if you have a theme for your card it helps everything come together.  And my theme for this card was Anything Gold will do.

Tomorrow I will share another card made without the use of the peacock.  When I first looked at this set I thought it was kind of limited, but after playing with it for this week, I realized it can be used in a variety of ways.

Beautiful Peacock-Picture Perfect Birthday

Can you tell what part of the stamp set I used to make the border on the edge of this card?  If you said part of the peacock's tale, then you are correct.

After making the border I stamped the saying from the Picture Perfect stamp set on Sweet Sugarplum card stock, and cut it out using the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  The final touch was some striped Sweet Sugarplum ribbon.

This was a simple card and easy to reproduce.

Tomorrow's card was the WOW card of the week.  You will see some gold and Pool Party on the card.  Come back and check it out.

Beautiful Peacock-Dazzling Diamonds glitter

Isn't this peacock cute?  I can imagine stamping it in all different color combinations. If you have been looking all over the Occasions catalog for this stamp set you will not find it there.  This is one of the free stamps you can earn with a $50 order from the Sale a Bration catalog.

I had  a great time picking this color combination.  After I stamped the bird I thought it needed something else, so I added some Dazzling Diamonds glitter and thought it was the touch that was needed to make the card look great.

If the body of the bird in this stamp looks a little hard to place in an exact position it is because it is.  Stampin'Up! has a new tool that helps alleviate that problem.  It is called the Stamparatus and if you were not able to reserve one, you will be able to own one once the new annual catalog comes out in June.

Tomorrow I will show you that you can make a card with part of this stamp set that does not use the bird.
