Rectangular Color combos are made from two sets of complementary colors. In this card the colors used are orange and blue, and red and green. I wanted to feature the new in colors and a great new saying called Bravo.

Can you tell what two of my favorite items from the new catalog are? If you guessed the Blended Bloom stamp set and the Blendabilities markers you would be correct. These two items used together definitely make a WOW!
This is one of the last two cards that my club members will be making for our Color cards. This card is my take on the Analogous color combo. There is one featured color which on this card is Coastal Cabana and two colors on either side on the color wheel. I chose Garden Green and Wild Wasabi. They make a wonderful combination.

The triadic color scheme uses 3 colors that are evenly spaced around the color wheel. To me this could be quite similar to the primary or secondary colors. I decided to use pastel shades of red, yellow and blue for my card.

I love trying out new color combinations and finding ones I might never have chosen on my own. This combo is one of those. Choose a base color, in this case Island Indigo as the blue, then choose two colors that are next to its complement. I chose Pumpkin Pie and Calypso Coral.

The most common complementary color combo is red and green, so I wanted to pick one that was not quite so common. Purple and yellow.

My monthly club, the Press Club, has been doing a color study these last couple of months. This card represented the secondary colors of green, purple and orange. I love how the card turned out.

My monthly club which is called The Press Club is a technique club. I decided it might be fun to explore color a little bit with our club cards. So the first card we made last month was a monochromatic card. The Color Coach that Stampin'Up! offers has a great component for some of the colors. It is a combination that they recommend for two step stamping. I thought it would be just as easy to use one of those recommended combinations for my monochromatic card. So I chose Elegant Eggplant and Perfect Plum. What do you think of this Sushi Original?

HINT: In order to make the background behind the saying, I punched one decorative label out of Elegant Eggplant card stock and then cut it in half the long way. When I attached each half to the top and bottom of the saying it added just the right amount of accent to the card.
