5 Favorites-Sharing Sweet Thoughts

Isn't this a cute set, and best of all it coordinates with the Jars of Love thinlits and stamp set. Can you find the new items in this card?

The saying is part of the McDonald stamp set.  $3 from the sale of each one of these stamp sets goes to the Ronald McDonald House charities.  The stamp set is good for one year only. I make sure I buy one each year to support this great cause.

The brick background was made with the new embossing paste, using the new palette knife, and the new brick stencil.

What are the returning items?

I cut out the jar with the returning thinlits called Everyday Jars.

The firefly is from the Jars of Love stamp set.

The punch for the saying is the Classic Label punch which was new last year.

This was my swap card for the last Butterfly Friends meeting.  Fun to make and fun to swap.

The next favorite stamp set I will share is one of the Hostess Sets.

Shaker card Wednesday Wow

I just love the cute little fireflies.  This card was so much fun to make.  What made it so easy was using the thinlits that matched the images in the Jar of Love stamp set.  Notice that the lid is not attached and some of the fire flies have escaped..

Supplies used

Lucky Stars embossing folder
Jar of Love stamp set
Everyday Jars framelits
Vellum card stock
Gold Wink of Stella
Night of Navy card stock
Daffodil Delight ink

Come back tomorrow  to see how easy it is to make a shaker card and just change up a few elements.

Serene Scenery-Wednesday Wow

Can you see where a sheet from Serene Scenery is on this card?  It is the background.  The Wow factor for me is adding the jar on top of the designer paper.  I found this card on Pinterest from the blog of Amy www.stampinwithamyk.com.  I made some changes to Amy's card to make it my own.  What do you think?

Come back tomorrow to see some basic ways to show off the paper in this great designer paper pack.
