Happy Haunting for Halloween-I'm back

It is hard for me to believe that so much time has passed since my last posting.  Sometimes events in life keep us from our regular routine.  But I am back and exciting about sharing my stamping ideas with you once again.

This was a favorite card of mine several years ago.  Why?

Washi tape of course
Simple design and
Cute witch

Well, I wanted to make some Halloween cards this year that looked as much like this card as possible.

The cute witch was gone and so were the bats, but how about a skull and some spiders.

Or how about a bat and some spiders.  I thought these turned out cute especially when I added some googly eyes.  But, not as cute as that witch.

See what you can do with an idea you like and how you can change it up to be similar.

Happy Halloween!

Traveling

I'll be gone for a few days to attend the funeral of a wonderful woman.  Look for me to return some time this weekend or next week.

Kind Koala-Single Stamp

Sometimes just a single stamp says it all.  This cute stamp comes all by itself, but doesn't need anything else with it.  Why do I like single stamps?

They do not cost as much as a group of stamps.

They are a picture and a saying all in one.

They can be cute like this one.

I know that my friend Lori made this card.  Love it!  Thanks Lori for such a cute idea.

Garden in Bloom-Two step stamping

Have you ever passed a stamp set by in the catalog and then seen it on a card and said to yourself "Why did I not notice this really cute stamp set?"  Well, that happened to me when we made this card at Robin's fall card class.  Here's what I love about this card....

The colors, and the DSP Bohemian

The cute little bee

The 2 step stamping and the fact the lining up the stamps did not have to be exact- just the nature of the design

The fact that the flower stamp was not a solid image so any mistakes in stamping really would not show up.

Can you guess what stamp set was on my last order?

Six-Sided Sampler

I love the colors in this card don't you?  This was another card featured in Robin's Everything Fall card class.  Sometimes I make myself look through my stamp sets and find one that I have not used for quite a while.  Robin said that is why this card featured the Six-Sided Sampler stamp set.  What do I love about this card?

Grey and Lost Lagoon look great together

The dots in the background from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set

The way the new framelit Bold Butterfly is incorporated with the old stamp set.

The touch of silver glimmer paper

Finally the simple saying Hello Sweet Friend

I know this card will show up in one of my card buffets soon.

Into the Woods, fall card buffet

I love products that coordinate.  This card hits the jackpot in coordination.  Another card from Robin's class.  The punch Acorn Builder, coordinates with the stamp set called Acorny Thank You, which coordinates with the designer paper called Into the Woods, which coordinates with the Into the Woods Rich Razzleberry Ribbon.  Fun!!

Lighthearted Leaves-Fall card buffet

I was attracted to this stamp set when I opened up the Holiday catalog.  So, I was very happy when Robin had this card for us to make at her recent Everything Fall class.  Next time I use this set I want to stamp in black and color in the leaves.  You know that adults coloring is a new thing now, so I want to join in the new trend.
