Touches of Texture-Sweet Sugarplum

 Final retiring in-color is Sweet Sugarplum.  Did you guess it?  This is the color that I will miss the most.  I love that is a combination of pink and purple.  

The stamp set is a favorite since it is easy to use in collage stamping.  Another favorite type of stamping I love to use.  

Most of the card is Sweet Sugarplum but since a stem was involved I needed another color, but I wanted it to be subtle, so I chose Crumb Cake.

The saying is from the set called Birthday Wit from the Occasions catalog.

Dragonfly Dreams-Dapper Denim

 By now if you have been following my blog you should know that creating a simple card is my favorite thing to do.  Here is another card where the thinlit makes the card.  I have loved these dragonflies since the first time I saw them.

I hope you can see the Glitter and Clear Epoxy shapes on the head of each dragonfly.  I had fun using the in color acrylic shapes on these cards, trying to figure out which shape to use on which card.  Sometimes these extra accessories are forgotten, but they can add a great element to a card.

Floral Phrases-Emerald Envy

 When you have a great looking background like these Detailed Floral thinlits, you really don't need much more to make a great looking card.  All I added was a butterfly, a saying and an acrylic shape.

Weather Together- Peekaboo Peach

    I would have had a lot of use for these umbrellas lately here in Illinois. We have seen our share of rain and then 3 inches of snow on Easter.  Illinois is such a changeable weather state.

 This is a fun set with lots of variety to it.  The second umbrella has an embossed image on it.  The third has a flowery image stamped over the umbrella  and then cut out with a matching framelit.

   I used the adhesive sheets on the back of some black card stock so that when cut out these will attach easily.  If you have not ever used these sheets they are a great way to attached thin tiny detailed shapes.

  You most likely recognize the color of the day, Peek a Boo Peach.  There are several items for each one of these retiring in colors to use as accents.  I have used the hearts from the In Color Glitter Acrylic shapes as accents on this card.

Eastern Beauty-Flirty Flamingo

  Are you going to miss any of the retiring In-Colors?  Do you know what in-colors are?
