Very Last Chance-Friendly Wishes, and Get Well Soon

Three of my favorite items are on this card.

1. Washi Tape
2. Designer paper
3. Punches

With those 3 items and a great saying you are set to make some really fun and easy cards.  The stamp set is called Friendly Phrases and have some great sayings about friendship.

The Playful Palatte designer paper stack is perfect to use to punch out coordinating circles.  And the coordinating washi tape just finishes off the card.

The last card was so much fun to make.  It is made from a piece of designer paper folded in half, and glued on the bottom and the right hand side.  Then after making the design on the front a package of cup of soup is added inside.  Isn't this the perfect gift to give to someone that needs a little pick me up.

How did I make a colored bowl?  First I stamped the entire image on a piece of vanilla card stock, then I stamped just the bowl on a piece of designer paper.  After I cut it out and glued it on top of the original bowl all the parts of the design lined up perfectly. A great card to end my last chance cards entries.

So make sure you have ordered everything that you would like from the 2016-2017 catalog by the end of the day today.  Don't have a demonstrator you work with, then click on my store and place your order with me.

Come back tomorrow to see some cards made with NEW product.

Last Chance cards-Botanical Blooms and Biggest Birthday Ever

A favorite stamp set and framelit and a returning friend.  I loved Botanical Blooms from the first time I saw it in a catalog. I loved the style of the flowers and the coordinating thinlits that went with the stamp set so I will miss this set.

But a set that I love using is returning and that is Timeless Treasures.  I love how easy it is to combing the different stamps in the set and make a collage look without out too much effort.

The saying for this card comes from the Watercolor Wishes stamp set that is included in the card kit.  I will miss the style of these sayings.

This set, Biggest Birthday Ever, is so much fun to use and is one I did not use as much as I wish I had now that it is retiring.  The cone and the ice cream with the sprinkles looks good enough to eat.  YUM
The saying is from the Tin of Cards stamp set and will be missed.  It is such an easy saying to include on cards.
Do you see the large circles on the background.  That embossing folder is also retiring.  There are some great things in the new catalog that will replace this folder, so just wait and see.

Come back tomorrow to see my final last chance cards. Get Well Soon and Friendly Phrases.

Last Chance cards-Fabulous Flora Hostess set

Have you seen this stamp set?  It is a hostess set called Fabulous Flora.  When you are hostess to an event, a club or a home party, you can choose any of the hostess sets as part of your free items.  These sets are usually 9 or 10 dollars, a great price.n It isn't too late to have a personal party before this catalog ends and earn this stamp set for yourself.

The saying on this card is from the set called All Things Thanks and will be in the new catalog. And the designer paper which was one of my favorites is called Blooms and Bliss.

Hope you are eager to see what the new designer papers will look like.  I have seen them and really like most of them a lot.

Come back tomorrow to see two cards that feature last chance items.

Last Chance cards-Balloon Adventures

Isn't this a cute card?  You can attach a gift card to the pullout that fits nicely into a slit on the right hand side of the card.

This is a card we made at the Butterfly Friends meeting in March.  There were parts to this card I did not realize belonged with the Birthday Pop-Up thinlits.  The Pop Ups were the basic part of the set, so I did nto notice the bow, the slit, the corner of the pull out, or the top of the present.  I will really miss both the stamp set and the matching thinlits.

Come back next week to see 5 more last chance cards.  And then.......the new catalog will be place.

Last Chance cards-Traveler stamp set

I love how easy it is to make sky and water using the Work of Art stamp set.  I used 4 different blue colors, starting with the lightest first, and working down to the darkest.  Used the round stamp from Work of Art for the sun.  Good news, this stamp set will be around for another year.

One I had the background created all I had to do was stamp the boat in Basic Black and the saying, from the set called Happy Happenings, in Dapper Denim.  The embossing folder called Seaside is in our new catalog.  It makes great backgrounds for the sea or the sky.

Come back tomorrow to see a really cute birthday card made with the Balloon Adventures stamp set and thinlits.

Last Chance cards- A World of Thanks

Isn't this a great stamp that says it all.  All over stamps like this can be used in a couple of different ways.

1. Stamp the entire stamp which takes up almost 1/4 sheet of paper.

2. Stamp the entire stamp on a sheet of paper and then cut out your favorite part to use on a stamp.  For example cut out the Thank You and the hearts for a card for someone special.

Simple cards say a lot just by themselves without a lot of extra things added. Don't you agree/

Come back tomorrow to see a card I made using the Traveler stamp set and a returning favorite, Work of Art.

Last Chance cards-Fresh Fruit

Where is the fruit you might wonder? The great thing about this stamp set was that there were many more images other than fruit in the set.  And like a lot of stamp sets in the Stampin'Up! catalogs, this set coordinated with some great designer paper.  You can see a little bit of the paper in the banners.

Fresh Fruit is a set that I used a lot in the spring and summer.  It was fun to get it out and use it again for one last chance.

Come back tomorrow to see a card I made with the A World of Thanks stamp set.

Last Chance cards-In the Meadow

How do you feel at this time of the Stampin'Up! year?  I have mixed feelings.  Excitement over a new catalog and disappointment over stamp sets and items that are disappearing. So, this week I am featuring some of the disappearing stamp sets.  It is still not too late to order some of your favorites.

In the Meadow is one of my favorites.  It reminds me so much of what I love about nature.  In this card I sponged some fall colors over the trees.  An easy but attractive way to create a card.  Couldn't you see this as a seasonal card with different sponging for each season.

Come back tomorrow to see what I have done with another favorite stamp set called Fresh Fruit,

Eastern Palace Suite-Last 2 coordinating thinlits

The last two coordination thinlits also cut out the image with some inside petals.

I used the center from another set of thinlits to create the center for this card.  And I added a tassel.  I wasn't sure about the tassels when I saw them in the catalog, but think they add a fun feature to the card.

For my last card I just used the inside part of the coordination thinlits to create some petals.  Notice the sticker that I added to the center.

I hope the cards I have featured this week have made you excited about one of the new sets you can order from the new catalog.  Want it now?  You can order it now until the end of May.  And then of course when the new catalog comes out in June.

Come back on Monday to see the cards I presented in my last chance card buffet.  It will be hard to say goodbye to some of these favorite stamps.

Eastern Palace Suite-2 coordinating thinlits

The image in the center of this card was made using 2 coordinating thinlits from the Eastern Medallion thinlits.  When you use these 2 thinlits together they actually cut out the design you see in the center.

How did I get the other two images?  I snipped the small piece of card stock that is in between the petals and made the flowers.

How did I get the cute design that is in the center of each flower? I cut out the design from some of the designer paper.

I made this card with the outside piece that was leftover from the card above.  I stamped one of the tiny images in the center of each petal piece.

For this card I just ran the center piece through the big shot to get the petals only.  I cut them out using the layering circles.

For my final card today I snipped out the inside of the image and just used the outside for my accent piece.

I had such fun trying to use different parts of the match thinlits in different ways.

Come back tomorrow to see how I used the last grouping in two different ways.

Eastern Palace Suite- 3 more thinlits

Would you like to receive this card as a swap?  I made several of this card front for a swap we had at my upline meeting the first week of May.  Here is what I used for this card.

1. I used the second 3 piece grouping of thinlits together and ran them through my bigshot using the new designer paper.

2. Next, I snipped a small piece of paper that was between each petal of this design to make the medallion become a separate piece.

3. I finished the card with some stamping and layering.

1. For my second card I cut the 3 thinlits out of a square piece of Fresh Fig card stock.

2. I added a small sticker and a small image to complete the accent piece.

3. I attached the accent piece to another design of the Eastern Palace Specialty designer paper.

1. For my final card of today I ran each one of the 3 coordinating thinlilts through the big shot using a different color each time.

2. I cut each design out using the layering circles.  I also popped up each one of the petals to make it look like a flower.

Come back tomorrow to see some samples I made using 2 thinlits that are meant to coordinate with each other.

Eastern Palace Suite-3 Looks

You might wonder what is in this Eastern Palace Suite.

14 thinlits called Eastern Medallion
21 Photopolymer stamps called Eastern Beauty
4 sheets of Eastern Gold Vinyl stickers
12 mini tassels
12 sheets of 12 by 12 Eastern Palace Specialty designer paper

The cards I am going to share with you today use one of the groups of thinlits.  These thinlits come in a group of 3.  The outside layer does not cut all the way through the card stock, but can be cut with a square of card stock like my first card.

Do you notice 2 new in-colors.  The lime green is called Lemon-Lime Twist and is my favorite.

The blue color is called Tranquil Tide. It goes well with all our other blues.

In this second card I used the same 3 coordinating thinlits.  Can you see how I changed them?

1. I ran each one separately through my big shot.
2. Next, I cut them out with one of the layering circles.
3. Finally,  Then I layered them on top of each other.

The new color in this card is called Fresh Fig and goes well with our other purple colors.

The final card for today incorporates several of the stamps included in this suite.

1. First, I cut out the 3 coordinating thinlits in white card stock.
2. Next I stamped the funny looking dotted image.  Because this design is symmetrical it is easy to match the stamp up to the same spot each time you ink it.  When the entire shape has been stamped it adds another petal look to the card. I love this look.
3. Finally, I added on of the tiny stamps inside each petal, cut out an inside image and added a sticker to the center of the card.

Come back tomorrow to see what I create using another set of coordinating thinlits.

Stamp set, thinlits, and gold stickers are featured in this card.

Greetings!  Isn't this a lovely spring!  I have accomplished my goal of spring cleaning and am ready for some blogging.
