Lots to Love box- Flat envelope with gift certificate

Do you like unique gift card holders?  Especially one that you can make yourself?  Would you believe this is made using the same box framelit that the box from yesterday's post?

Here is how I made the holder.
1. One box shape
2. One additional piece with the measurements above.
3. Cut out the pieces on the box that are marked with an x.
4. Fold the score lines and attach the rectangular piece on top.
5. Decorate to your liking.

This shows how a gift card could be included inside.

Wasn't that fun?  Now do you wonder what you will see made from this box tomorrow?  How about a banner.  Come back to check that out.

Fall Gift card holder

Shelli Gardner showed us this gift card holder at convention, and my friend Julie posted her version on her blog.  When my friend, Linda, came over last week we created a Fall version.  This gift card holder really shows off the bow die for the big shot.  It is so fast and easy to make a really cute bow and a great way to use up some scraps.  In order to get the smaller loops on my bow, I had to use two layers of designer paper on the small loop.  When you lift the top of the gift up........

you pull up a flap and the gift card can fit right in the little pocket.  Looks difficult?  It really is not.  I watched Julie's video to make sure I was doing everything correctly.  Who would you make a bow like this for?

Darcy's Gift card holder

A group of interested stampers have been meeting for some creative time a couple of times a month.  Darcy brought a really cute gift card holder idea for us to make.  She had everything scored and ready to go and we just put it together. I like the ornament on the front of the box attached to the Cherry Cobbler Tulle. Then on the inside there is a spot for a gift card and my favorite some rolos wrapped in foil.  What is there about chocolate that tastes so good you just want more?  What gift card would you put in the holder and what small candy would you wrap as an additional treat? By the way, I have not given the gift card holder away yet, but the Rolo candy is gone.
