Pineapple Punch In-color week

  Isn't this a wonderful bright color?  Pineapple Punch. 

 One of the things I like to check out with a new catalog are the suites.  There are 14 suites in the 2018-2019 catalog.  They are listed on page 2 of the catalog. Each item that is a part of the suite coordinates and adds to the stamp that is featured.  I used a couple items on this card from the Share What You Love suite found on pages 176-178.

I think the embossing folder which is called Lovely Floral is my favorite item in the suite.  Doesn't it make a wonderful background for this card?

Tomorrow's card will be made using Call Me Clover, my favorite in-color this year.  I have realized I really gravitate towards the greens.

Share What You Love Suite-Technique Tuesday

What is your favorite part of this card?  For me it is the embossing.  That is the technique for today.

1. Take the stamp pad of your choice and drag it over one side of the embossing folder of your choice.

2. Lay your card stock in the middle of the embossing folder and close the folder.

3. Run it through the big shot and when it comes out you have an almost satin look surrounding the embossed area.

4. Add some designer paper, and a focal area and the card is complete.

5. The bow is made by taking a bit of Nature's twine, shred it into strands and then tie a bow.

Several quick steps help you make a special looking card.  Try this ink inside an embossing folder in any folder you enjoy.
