Birthday Buffet-Celebrate Today

     Who doesn't love balloons?  This card was inspired by one made by stampedsilly.blogspot.com. I loved the fact that the balloons stamped so easily and could then be cut out with a matching framelit.  I added some color using the new Aquamarine chalk ink pad. Who would you send this card to?  I imagined it to be very generic, could be for kids, for males, or for females. And even though I made mine for birthdays, you could also use this set to make a card for graduation, weddings, or babies. Very versatile.  Hmm might make a good set of the week.

McDonald House Get Well Stamp

    Tag it is the name of this year's Ronald McDonald house stamp.  I think the images are really cute and love that each one can be cut out using the Chalk Board Framelits.  Simple cards like this one can be as cute as ones with lots of details.  The designer paper is from Gingham Garden. When you need a fast card, designer paper and framelits can make it fast and easy to get the job done.

  Still no camera, not in any trash cans.  I wish it had a tone to it so I could just dial and find it like I can find my phone when I misplace it.  Where would you look for my phone if you were me?

Designer Paper makes the card

     I love using Designer Paper as the background for a card.  It really sets the tone for the rest of the card.  This is one of the cards we made in the Kids Birthday card class held yesterday.  Once I made the decision to use the Birthday Basics background paper, I just picked coordination colors for the accent pieces.

Dream Card

Dream inspired card

     The 25th year convention was so inspiring, exciting, and exhausting.  I was so glad to get home to my own bed and my own house.  I had a great sleep and a wonderful dream.  Shelli Gardner (CEO of StampinUp) came to my house to help me redecorate.  We had wonderful conversations and the start of the decorating was a dress form.  So, of course I had to make a card to commemorate such a wonderful dream.

Black and White and Red all Over

     I love the look of a black and white card with a splash of another color.  The stamp set used in this sample was one I received at Leadership 2012.  I have used the flowers in the stamp set several times, but this is the first card I have made with the bird.  I think it is the perfect accent on an otherwise beautiful card. Several of my favorite tools are featured in this card..
