  Isn't this a cute set, and best of all it coordinates with the Jars of Love thinlits and stamp set. Can you find the new items in this card?

The saying is part of the McDonald stamp set.  $3 from the sale of each one of these stamp sets goes to the Ronald McDonald House charities.  The stamp set is good for one year only. I make sure I buy one each year to support this great cause.

The brick background was made with the new embossing paste, using the new palette knife, and the new brick stencil.

What are the returning items?

I cut out the jar with the returning thinlits called Everyday Jars.

The firefly is from the Jars of Love stamp set.

The punch for the saying is the Classic Label punch which was new last year.

This was my swap card for the last Butterfly Friends meeting.  Fun to make and fun to swap.

The next favorite stamp set I will share is one of the Hostess Sets.


 

Sprinkles of Life-Wednesday Wow

 I love finding cards when the creator thinks out of the box.  The base of this balloon is actually the cupcake liner from the Sprinkles of Life stamp set.  I found this on Pinterest created by tara fowler crafting. I basically CASEd Tara's idea except made the card a birthday card, and used the retiring window punch.  I am sure going to miss that punch.

This card takes the balloon idea even further.  I found this again on 
Pinterest from the website called lovefromthefairies. Used the retiring in-colors for the balloon and made this another birthday card.

Sprinkles of Life-Miscellaneous Monday

  Each  year for the past 13-14 years Stampin'Up! has created an exclusive stamp set where the sales benefit the Ronald McDonald House charities.  Last years stamp set was so great and had a matching punch that for the first time ever the stamp set was carried over and became part of the regular stamps offered.  There are so many parts to this set I decided to feature it this week.

Sprinkles of Life-Ronald McDonald stamp set

    Are you familiar with the Ronald McDonald House?  The year I started as a demonstrator at Stampin'Up! they started working with the Ronald McDonald House Charities.  Here is what they do.....

1. They donate $100,000 a year to this charity.

2. They create an exclusive stamp set that last for one year only.  $3 from the sale of each stamp set also goes to this charity.

3. Demonstrators all over the country work in the houses and organize events for the families who are staying at the houses.

4. In the time SU has been working with them they have donated well over 1,000,000 to the charity.

    So, to support this work, I purchase the stamp set each year and create a project using the stamp for my Open House.  This year's stamp set is called Sprinkle of Life.  SU even has a punch that coordinates with the stamp set.

Here is how I made the card.

1. I turned the tree on its side for a branch.

2. I stamped the leaves and then cut a little nest out of the leaves.

3. I punched out two clouds and sponged the edges with Soft Sky ink.

  I found the idea for this card on a SU video, and everyone got to make the card and a matching envelope.  What do you think of this year's set?



   

Miscellaneous Monday- Ronald McDonald Convention Swap

     Do you know what a swap is?  When I go to any Stampin'Up! event, I take card fronts and trade them with other demonstrators. And that is called swapping. Since I do not like making a lot of the same card fronts, I usually make 20 of each design to keep the process enjoyable. I love coming home with lots of new ideas.
   This card uses the current Ronald McDonald stamp set called Flamingo Lingo.  I love the versatility of this stamp set, baby card, breast cancer awareness, or a congratulation card are some ideas that I can think of right now. For what occasion would you use this card?
   Each year SU designs an exclusive one year only stamp set for the McDonald House.  $3 from the sale of the stamp set is then sent on each quarter to the house.  My first year of being a demonstrator was the first year that SU developed this partnership.  And in that time we have donated over $1,000,000 to this special charity.  The current McDonald stamp set is always on my first order of the year.

McDonald House Get Well Stamp

    Tag it is the name of this year's Ronald McDonald house stamp.  I think the images are really cute and love that each one can be cut out using the Chalk Board Framelits.  Simple cards like this one can be as cute as ones with lots of details.  The designer paper is from Gingham Garden. When you need a fast card, designer paper and framelits can make it fast and easy to get the job done.

  Still no camera, not in any trash cans.  I wish it had a tone to it so I could just dial and find it like I can find my phone when I misplace it.  Where would you look for my phone if you were me?
