Have you seen all the beautiful cards that are being made with this set? I have been inspired by quite a few. I chose this card as my wow card for these reasons.
1. The background paper called Falling in Love has such a 3-d look to it.
2. The stamped image on top of the designer paper increases the 3-D look.
3. The additions of doilies, ribbon and the cute Falling in Love embellishments added to the wow factor of the card.
A wow card for me does not have to have lots of layers, detailed stamping and laying. It has to catch my eye and make me say "Wow I really like this card."

Have you seen the Occasions catalog yet? This set called Dragonfly Dreams was one that jumped out of the catalog at me and has become my favorite. Today's card shows off the stamped dragonfly image. And best thing is there is a matching framelit that will cut the dragonfly out.
Don't you love sets that match the stamp and the framelit.
I love the realism of the background paper used in this card. It is called Falling in Love and can be used for so many things: Weddings, Anniversaries, Valentines, Birthdays, or just thinking of you.
This picture you shows you which layers I used dimensionals on. So this is a simple card that could be used with all the elements of this Bundle and the Falling in Love Designer paper.

I thought it might be fun to try a color challenge this week and found this great combination on the Paper Players blog. What to use, I wondered?
1. I checked out the Occasion and Sale a Bration (SAB) catalogs for stamps I had not used yet and decided to give the stamp set What I Love from the SAB catalog a try.
2. I knew I wanted to use Pool Party as the background and decided to overlay it with the Botanical Garden Vellum stack also from the SAB catalog.
3. So that left using Daffodil Delight and Tangerine Tango for the flowers.
The stamps were easy and fun to use. Each stamp has a tab that helped me place them in the correct position for a perfect line up. This was a great challenge! Can't wait to see what challenge I choose to try next Thursday.

If you read my post from yesterday, you know that I am working hard on having my house totally organized ready for the New Year. This box is full of cards that are ready to go to my friends and family. Looks like a lot of cards doesn't it! You might think that it would be hard to keep track of all those cards. Well, I have a workable system I have used for years that helps me out.
1. I group the cards in several categories. These are the same categories I use in my Fill Your Card Box classes.
2. When I need a Sympathy card, I just go to the Sympathy tab and find the card I think fits the person I am sending it to.
3. I have a separate box for birthday cards where the tabs indicate what kind of birthday card is behind. Example, Children, Female, Generic, you get the idea.
This may seem overly simple but I can always put my fingers on a card when I need one.
These cards are now organized for the coming year. When I see a category is low then I make up some of my extra supplies for a class.
