Rooted in Nature-Wednesday Wow

What part of this card jumps out at you?  For me it is the center image that is stamped on Copper Foil. This technique is called Black Ice, and this card was made by Arlen.

I love how she combined two stamp sets together and her collage background is the perfect background for the center of her card.

Black Ice...

1.Take a black stamp pad and press it at an angle from top to bottom of the foil.  You should see a streak of black.

2. Stamp the image you want on your card over this streak.

3. Dry this with a heat tool to avoid streaking in the next step.

4. Rub the foil all over with versa mark.

5. Coat this surface with Clear embossing powder.

You have now created your black ice focal point.

Tomorrow, I will share 3 cards made using the same template.
