Have you ever use Vellum card stock? Today I will share several different ways it can be used on your cards.
1. Use vellum on top of your background to soften the look.
2. Cut out your vellum to cover an accent piece (the flower), and punch out extras out of vellum (the leaves)
3. Place a piece of vellum in an embossing folder. The impressions will be white.
4. Use a die to cut out images from vellum. They will be a subtle accent.
5. Emboss one side of your vellum with embossing powder. Flip the vellum over and color in the areas that have not been embosses. This is sometimes called the stained glass technique.
6. Emboss again in a dark color, black works really well. Turn this over and take an embossing tool and rub in the areas that have not been embossed. These areas will be white when you turn the card over.
If you watch this video you will be able to watch me made a card using each one of the above samples.
Come back tomorrow to see how I stepped up the card from Monday.
Till then,
Happy Stamping,
Sushi
