Simple Subtles-Wednesday WOW

I love this color combination.  The background color is one of the brand new colors called Soft Sea Foam.  I love this pale green color.  Although I am usually not a pink person, I do  like the Blushing Bride pink color with the background.

The stamp set called Healing Hugs is one of the new stamps called a Distinctive stamp.  The stamp is cut so that when it is stamped it looks like you have used several different colors to stamp it.  You might wonder how I got the color variation I got for the flower.

1. First, I inked the flower in Petal Pink ink.

2. Next, with a dauber I sponged some of the Blushing Bride ink into the petal of the flower.

3. Finally, I took another dauber and put some Calypso Coral ink on the edges of the petals.

4. The final step is to stamp everything on the card stock of your choice.

This background is created using the new Tufted embossing folder.  I love the look. The final result of putting everything together is one of my favorite cards this week.

Wow, this is such a hot week here in Illinois.  Perfect time to stay inside and get my stamping room in order.  One of these weeks I will share pictures and a video on how I organize my space.

Tomorrow, 3-D Thursday, I will share a bag I made using the Gift Bag Punch Board.  I have had it tucked away in a drawer and have not used it in quite a long time.  When I made the bag for my blog I realize I need to use it more often.

Till Then,
Happy Stamping,
Sushi
