One of the things I love about the Christmas season is giving and receiving Christmas cards. This year it seemed I received more hand made cards than usual and those are always my favorites. This card was sent by my sister Nan, who lives in Eugene, Oregon. She has a very distinctive style of stamping, simple designs that are very symmetrical. The background of this card is embossed with glitter and looks just like it looked around here yesterday; soft, silent snow drifting onto the branches of trees. Don't you love the simple dash of red of the bird on the tree.My wish for everyone this coming year is to have peace, time with loved ones, and an appreciation of others.
